R.Falcao's mother: I hope my son will recover

"Manchester United" footballer Radamel Falcao's mother hopes that her son will have better days next season and is convinced that he will regain his scoring instincts.

This season, Falcao did not show his true self and only scored four goals in 28 matches. In the summer, the 29-year-old footballer is likely to return to the "Monaco" team.

"Not everything has been easy in Falcao's life," said his mother, Carmenza Zarate, to the Colombian newspaper "El Espectador". "His career has had difficult moments, which led him to miss the World Cup and accept a substitute role in Manchester.

"I often remind him that after hardship comes blessing. We are waiting for brighter days. God has not abandoned us, and my son will once again be the goal scorer he was before.

Even if Radamel is dissatisfied with not making it to the starting eleven, he has to accept the coach's decision. It's not a usual situation for him, but that's how it goes in football. If God shows a new path, he will leave Manchester; if not, he will stay.

I believe that what Van Gaal is doing with Falcao is not personal, as Angel Di Maria and Robin van Persie are experiencing the same. It's his way of working, and you have to respect that."
