Former "Man Utd" team captain Rio Ferdinand believes that the "Red Devils" squad has no other choice but to go all the way in negotiations for the acquisition of "Juventus" midfielder Paul Pogba.
According to the Englishman, a failed deal could have a negative impact on Manchester's team results.
"As a player, you always think: he's coming, he's coming. So if in the end it doesn't happen, there might be a reverse effect and it could affect other team players at least for a short period," Ferdinand stated.
He also doesn't think that the record-breaking €110 million for a player is too high of a sum.
"People said the same thing when 'Man Utd' bought me for £30 million, but we started winning games and now you can say - it wasn't expensive. When you win six 'Premier' League titles in 12 years - everything is normal.
If Pogba does come and in 10 years wins at least 5 titles and earns the same amount selling shirts, you can say - well done, it was a good deal," he added.
