"Southampton" coach Ralph Hasenhuttl took full responsibility after the team's dismal performance in the "Premier" league match against "Leicester City".
Playing at home, the team suffered a heavy 0-9 defeat and unwillingly entered the record books of the tournament.
"Today was one of the most difficult matches. Our performance on the field was catastrophic and I have to apologize and take 100% responsibility.
I have never seen a team play like this, the players did not make any effort at all.
It was horrible to watch and everyone who stayed at the stadium to watch this match is truly deserving of the title of our club's biggest fan.
I do not want to see my players compete like this. I said we have to fight until the last minute, but I understand and respect the fans who left the arena earlier.
We will have to do everything to make amends", - clarified R. Hasenhuttl.
