Last week, Richarlison, who joined Tottenham for £50 million, will have to wait a little longer for his debut in the Premier League. Sami Mokbel from the Daily Mail reports that the 25-year-old Brazilian is expected to receive a one-game suspension for an incident involving a flare during the match against Chelsea. During the game at Goodison Park stadium, after scoring a goal, Richarlison picked up a flare that was flying onto the pitch. The striker held on to the flare for a while and later threw it back towards the spectators in the stadium. However, it was a harmless act as the fans were more focused on celebrating the goal and no one was injured. Nevertheless, according to the rules, the striker committed an offense and should be punished. Tottenham's first match of the season will be against Southampton at home. The second match will be against Chelsea away.
