Albertas Riera will leave the club in the near future and shake hands with Piraeus Olympiacos.
The Greeks are ready to pay 4 million euros for the Spaniard. Another 2 million will go to the English if Piraeus team wins the national championship in their country.
The player himself will sign a four-year contract and earn 2.5 million euros annually.
"If nothing very unexpected happens, Riera will be in our team," said Olympiacos strategist Ewaldas Lienenas. "He is a great player, proving his worth both in the club and in the Spanish national team."
Riera lost his place in the main lineup of Liverpool last season and did not hide his desire to leave.
