The Spanish media reported that the Dutch coach Frank Rijkaard publicly accused his player of unprofessional behavior.
Portugal's Ricardas Quaresma recently told a newspaper that the coach ignores him and Rijkaard was very dissatisfied with that.
The coach decided to teach the young Portuguese player a lesson - before Thursday's training session, he ordered all players to form a circle and called Quaresma to the center. In front of journalists watching the training, he spoke: "If there is something you don't like, you can tell me directly or in the changing room, but not to the journalists. My door is always open for you to talk whenever you want, but now I am disappointed in you."
The 20-year-old Quaresma, looking down all this time, apologized to the coach and began the training session.
