The famous Brazilian Rivaldo is heading to Africa - the football player, celebrating his 40th birthday in a few months, should soon face off against the Angolan top league club "Kabuscorp". It is expected that the contract with the best player of the planet in 1999 will be signed this week. "All Angolan teams are strengthening, so we cannot fall behind," said "Kabuscorp" president Bento Kangamba. "We had the chance to acquire Rivaldo, so we will do everything to make it happen." He added: "People talk a lot about age, but a player of such level and experience can contribute a lot to our team and the entire country's football." Last season, Rivaldo wore the shirt of his native Brazilian club "Sao Paulo" and scored five goals in 22 matches. This winter, his agent offered his client to Belgrade's "Partizan" and "Genk" teams, but they were not willing to make a deal.
