Just in one season, becoming a world-class star, "Leicester City" forward Riyad Mahrez revealed his past struggles.
Recognized as the best player of the "Premier" League, the 25-year-old Algerian in the past tried to establish himself in Scotland's "St Mirren" team, but during training in the snow, he got fed up and decided to run away.
"It was physically tough and cold. I had to train in a snowy field! I felt like I was improving and I wouldn't be allowed to leave, so I decided to escape secretly.
I borrowed a bicycle, packed my things, and later took a train to the airport and reached home," Mahrez told "L'Equipe", for whom Leicester City cashed in just 400,000 euros to "Le Havre" team in 2014.
This season in the "Premier" League, the player scored 17 goals and made 11 assists.
