Belgium national team manager Roberto Martinez was determined to leave his job in one of the most powerful national teams on the planet.
The "Daily Star" wrote that the 46-year-old Spaniard wanted to move to the "Tottenham" club when they fired Mauricio Pochettino.
However, his wish did not come true - the "Premier" league team chose Jose Mourinho.
R. Martinez has been leading the Belgium national team since 2016, and the team currently holds the first place in the FIFA rankings.
