Former Madrid "Real", "Manchester City" and "Milan" footballer Robinho is accused of leading a group in the rape of an 18-year-old girl.
The Italian newspaper "Corriere della Sera" revealed that the Italian prosecution has requested the arrest of the 30-year-old footballer, who is currently playing in his native Brazil.
He is accused of raping an 18-year-old compatriot in Milan in January 2013 along with five friends. At that time, the forward was playing for "Milan".
It is alleged that Robinho was at a city restaurant with five friends and his wife. It is claimed that the footballer escorted his wife home, and later joined his friends and together they engaged in sexual violence with an unspecified girl.
While playing for "Manchester City" in 2009, Robinho was already involved in a sex scandal when he was accused of sexual assault by police. The case did not reach court at that time.
