Robinho, who belongs to the club, rejected Istanbul's "Fenerbahce" offer and hopes to continue his career in Italy or Spain.
The Brazilian, who did not establish himself in the English team, is currently looking for where to continue his career.
"All I can say is that I will stay in Europe and would like to play in Italy or Spain," Robinho said. "So far, only "Fenerbahce" has made an official offer, but I turned it down.
"Negotiations are ongoing, but I don't want to talk about it in detail. A week is enough time to finalize everything."
In the second half of last season, Robinho spent time in his hometown team "Santos" on loan. He remains the most expensive player in Great Britain - "Man City" paid over 32.5 million pounds to Real Madrid for him in 2008.
