Robinho hopes to score in the clash between two of the most successful Champions League clubs taking place on Tuesday.
In 2008, the Brazilian left Real Madrid and moved to Manchester City, but after failing to shine in England, he ended up in Italy, where he now wears the jersey of Milan since this summer.
Speaking about the intriguing Real Madrid - Milan duel, the footballer told the newspaper Marca: "I really want to score a goal. Of course, the most important thing is to win. I want to score important goals, but the essence is to help the team.
"If we win in Madrid, we would have much more confidence and understand how strong we are."
A few days ago, Robinho confirmed that it is not difficult for him to sometimes end up on the bench, as the competition in the team is huge.
"Coach Massimiliano Allegri helps me understand Milan and Italian football," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "It is obvious that you cannot have four strikers in the starting eleven - balance is needed.
"However, the coach allows us to feel like main, important players. I would never protest remaining on the bench."
Alongside Robinho, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, and Alexandre Pato are also competing for a place on the field.
