Rodri was one of the favorites to win the "Golden Ball" in 2023, but it should be won by Lionel Messi.

Speaking on the "PartizadoCOPE" show, the midfielder who had a great season with Manchester City said:

"Individual awards depend on sporting achievements, but also on marketing. I lack marketing, similar to how Xavi or Iniesta lacked it at one time."

Lionel Messi will win the "Ballon d'Or," - said Rodri.
