"Roma" and "Bordeaux" agreed on Malcom, but the Brazilian may not move to Italy

"Roma" and "Bordeaux" have officially confirmed an agreement regarding the 21-year-old Brazilian Malcom's transfer.

"AS Roma" stated that the player will undergo a medical examination in the near future and sign a long-term contract. It is estimated that "Roma" did not hesitate to spend 40 million euros for the promising Brazilian.

Last year, Malcom was pursued by some of the biggest clubs in Europe, but negotiations with none of them were successful.

The left-footed player, who has been playing excellently since January 2016 in the ranks of "Bordeaux," has played 96 matches and scored 23 goals.

Malcom is already the eighth summer signing for "Roma," having already reached agreements with players like Javier Pastore, Justin Kluivert, and Ante Čorić.

Breaking news at midnight that "Bordeaux" canceled Malcom's flight to Rome and the agreement between the clubs collapsed. As reported by "Sky Italia," "Barcelona" "overtook" the Italian offer and now Malcom, who was almost officially a member of "Roma," may move to Spain.
