"Roma" borrows Man Utd defender C. Smalling

In the Italian media, unexpected news has appeared. It is announced that Chris Smalling will arrive to play in the Serie A championship.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano wrote that Roma has agreed with Manchester United on a simple one-year loan agreement. "Romans" will pay 3 million euros for the Englishman's services, and there will be no option to buy out his contract included in the agreement.

C. Smalling lost his starting position in the Man Utd team when Harry Maguire arrived. With such a large selection of central defenders, the "Red Devils" agreed to loan the experienced player to another club.

This summer, Everton also tried to loan Smalling from Manchester United, but the deal did not materialize.

The 29-year-old defender has been defending the honor of the Man Utd team since 2010 and has played in more than 300 matches.
