The capital club of Italy, "Roma," has acquired Moroccan defender Mehdi Benatia from the "Udinese" club for 13.5 million euros.
In their official statement, the capital team confirmed that midfielder Valerie Verre and forward Nicolas Lopez, as part of this deal, will play for the "Udinese" club.
M. Benatia has signed a five-year contract with "Roma" and is likely to become one of the main defenders of the team in the upcoming season.
The 26-year-old footballer spent three seasons playing for "Udinese," during which he played 90 matches. Previously, the Moroccan has played for French teams such as "Marseille," "Lorient," "Tours," and "Clermont Foot Auvergne 63." He moved to Italy as a free agent from the latter team.
