"Roma" dropped out of the Italian Cup, "Atalanta" and "Juventus" move on (VIDEO)

On this evening, the last three teams that made it to the quarterfinals of the Italian Cup were revealed.

Bergamo's "Atalanta" footballers defeated "Sassuolo" at home, with Andreas Cornelius sending them to the mat in the 16th minute. The result became 2-0 in the first half with Rafael Toloi also scoring.

However, the opponents did not give up and put up a serious fight after the break - their deficit was reduced by Toloi's own goal, and even more hope was given by Jasmin Kurtic's red card. Nevertheless, "Atalanta" secured the victory.

In another match, the "Torino" team celebrated an unexpected victory, defeating "Roma" away. Lorenzo De Silvestri led the visitors in the 39th minute.

Another blow was dealt to "giallorossi" in the second half by Simone Edera, with Patrick Schick's goal at the very end not changing anything.

Finally, the "Serie A" champion, Turin's "Juventus," achieved victory against "Genoa." This was awarded to Massimiliano Allegri's proteges, the duo of Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.

Results:

"Atalanta" 2 - 1 "Sassuolo"

"Roma" 1 - 2 "Torino"

"Juventus" 2 - 0 "Genoa"
