The sixth round of the Italian championship started on Saturday with two unexpected results.

Although the country's champion, Milan's "Inter", won at home by defeating "Udinese" 2-1, the other two teams considered favorites - "Milan" and "Roma" - had to experience a setback.

Ambitiously nurturing their goals, the "Milan" eleven sensationally lost 0-2 away to the league newcomer "Cesena" team.

Debut did not go well for Zlatan Ibrahimović either, as in the 87th minute he failed to score a penalty from 11 meters - his shot hit the crossbar.

He failed to narrow the gap that "Cesena" gained in the first half by scoring goals by Erjon Bogdani and Emanuele Gianccherini.

It is worth noting that even two goals from "Milan" forward Alexandre Pato were not counted as the referee saw rule violations.

"Roma" suffered a particularly humiliating defeat, losing 1-5 away to "Cagliari".

Daniele Conti led "Cagliari" to victory, but was in the hospital when the final referee's whistle sounded.

The hosts took the lead, but after just 10 minutes Daniele De Rossi restored the balance for the capital team.

Shortly after that, Conti seriously fouled "Roma" defender Nicolás Burdisso in the penalty area - for this episode the player was sent off the field, and Alessandro Matri converted the penalty awarded by the referee.

In the 38th minute, Robert Acquafresca doubled the lead, in the 47th minute Matri scored his second goal, and in the last minute of the match Andrea Lazzari struck the final blow to "Roma".
