The players of "Roma" secured their place in the next stage, where they will face Turin's "Juventus," by crushing "Fiorentina" 3-0 in front of their own fans.
In the other match, unexpectedly, "Udinese," who have been showing excellent results in the "Serie A" championship, were eliminated from the race for the trophy, as they were defeated 1-2 at home by Verona's "Chievo" team.
