"Roma" president: we will accept an apology from "Barcos" if they send us L. Messi

"Roma" president James Pallotta revealed the entire course of negotiations when Malcom became a player of "Barcelona" in the last minute, not theirs.

At the beginning of this week, "Roma" announced that they had reached an agreement with "Bordeaux" for the acquisition of the Brazilian. Malcom was supposed to board a plane and arrive in the Italian capital on the same evening, but the French club canceled the flight when they received a more profitable offer from "Barcelona".

"There is no doubt that we had an agreement on Malcom, but then out of nowhere, 'Barcelona' jumped on the last train. The club, which is already an example worldwide, acted unethically and amorally in this situation. They knew that the deal was done," said J. Pallotta.

"I have no problems if we need to fight for the player with clubs like 'Inter' or 'Bayern' - it's a process where nothing happens easily. However, the problem is that people still think that we did not reach a final agreement on Malcom.

It's complete nonsense. Everyone knows how it works - first there is an agreement for the transfer, the player arrives in your city, undergoes a medical examination, and then everyone signs the contract.

Other teams, unlike 'Barcelona', understand that this is not how you act. 'Bordeaux' did what no one else should do in the football world. Their actions were hardly understandable, so we will definitely take legal action.

'Bordeaux' contacts you and informs as if there was no agreement between us. They didn't even bother to ask us if they could announce on their official website that Malcom was already coming to Rome," recounted J. Pallotta the whole story.

"Roma" president revealed that "Barcelona" sent their apology, but the club is not going to accept it: "On Wednesday, 'Barcelona' sent their apology for what happened and how they acted, but we did not accept it.

The only chance for us to accept their apology is if they send us one of their players, but that will certainly not happen. As a gesture of good will, they could show us by sending Lionel Messi."
