"Liverpool" has made the first offer for "Roma" winger Mohamed Salah, but, as reported by the English newspaper "Daily Mail", it was rejected.
The "Reds" tried to acquire the Egyptian for 28 million pounds sterling. However, the Italian club values their star at 40 million pounds.
Indeed, splashing the cash is certainly worth it, as the 24-year-old footballer scored 15 goals and made 13 assists in the "Serie A" competition this season, when his team finished second.
Moreover, this is not the only great season Salah has had - last year he demonstrated similar statistics, and in the second part of the 2014-2015 season, he wreaked havoc playing for Fiorentina.
Now "Liverpool" has time to make a higher offer.
