In recent times, the eternal city's club, going through tough times, announced that when the winter transfer window opens, they will try to acquire the current team's representative Mario Alberto Santana.
The 22-year-old Argentine is most wanted by the current "Roma" coach Luigi Del Neri, who has already worked with Santana when he played for the team from which Del Neri himself came to "Roma".
"Palermo" president Maurizio Zamparini confirmed that when the winter transfer window opens in January, Santana may leave the team and move to the capital club of Italy.
"Santana shone last season, and this year he hasn't been playing matches as well as last year, but Luigi Del Neri really wants to see him in his team, and I don't rule out the possibility that we will sell him," Zamparini said.
Zamparini also revealed that a few more players may leave "Palermo" team, currently occupying the 12th position among 20 teams in the Italian "Serie A" championship, during winter.
"Mario Gonzales and Ernesto Farias may also leave our team if they fail to establish themselves in it before the opening of the transfer window," said "Palermo" president.
