Ronaldinho also refuses to help the Brazilian national team © EuroFootball.com

Ronaldinho asked the leaders of the Brazilian Football Federation not to include him in the national team for the upcoming "Copa America" competition this summer.

The representative has become the second important player of the national team to ask for a break due to a tough season. Earlier, Kaka did the same.

"You are well aware that over the past few years I have worked physically a lot without breaks," Ronaldinho said in the letter.

"Due to commitments to the club and the Brazilian national team, I could not take recommendations for rest, and that affected my game.

"I have always been very satisfied and felt the responsibility of representing my country. Wearing the yellow jersey also fills me with pride and love for my homeland.

"I am extremely grateful to the federation for the respect and attention shown to me, I thank you for the excellent relationships and ask you to understand my request properly. I hope to be able to help the national team again soon and I have no doubt that I will experience many great moments with them."

The Brazilian Football Federation also confirmed receiving such a letter: "Ronaldinho asked to be released from the "Copa America" competition due to fatigue and the need for rest."
