Legendary forward Ronaldinho will no longer play professional football.
Although a couple of years have passed since his last famous match with the team "Fluminense", it was only now officially announced that the 37-year-old Brazilian is retiring.
"He has retired from football, everything is over. On the occasion of farewell, something beautiful should be organized for Ronaldinho, perhaps it will happen after the World Cup in August," said the player's agent Roberto Assis.
The colorful Brazilian career has accumulated many titles - in 2005 he won the "Golden Ball", became the champion of the Champions League, twice won the gold of the Spanish championship, triumphed in the "Serie A" championship.
The forward, who represented his country's national team 97 times, became world champion in 2002.
In the old continent, he played in only three clubs - Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, and Milan. He spent the remaining years of his career playing in his homeland and in Mexico.
