Ronaldo returns to football

Former Brazilian national team striker Ronaldo confirmed that he will return to the field, wearing the jersey of the "Fort Lauderdale Strikers" playing in the second division in the USA.

The 38-year-old football legend, who ended his career in 2011, is one of the largest shareholders of NASL - the mentioned league. An interesting fact is that promotion from NASL to MLS is still not possible on sporting principle.

"It will definitely happen," Ronaldo said to Lance!. "I have said that I will return earlier. It won't happen now, but in the playoffs."

Until this summer, the former most prolific player of the World Cup has recently started an intense training regimen to lose weight and gain good fitness.

"We are still working on everything, but I will definitely set a goal to lose weight," added the Brazilian.

In December, Ronaldo also acquired a stake in the club in Florida and hopes to actively participate in its management.
