In the first match, the football players of Brighton and Liverpool's Everton clashed. Wayne Rooney's penalty kick decided the draw in this match.
In the 82nd minute, Anthony Knockaertas scored the first goal in this match. Brighton believed they could win three points, but at the end of the match, they conceded a penalty kick at their own goal.
It was successfully converted and W. Rooney saved Everton from defeat.
Having spent a lot of money in the summer, Everton is not pleasing their fans with good results so far - after eight rounds, they have only won two matches and are currently in 16th place.
In the other match, Southampton settled for a draw with Newcastle. The Saints took the lead twice in this match, but Manuel Gabbiadini's brace prevented the opponents from winning.
