Tomas Rosicky signed a new two-year contract with the London club.
The Czech national team midfielder has recently demonstrated great sporting form not seen in a long time and scored two goals in three matches.
"I have always been amazed by Tomas' abilities, so I am delighted with the decision to link my future with the club," said coach Arsene Wenger.
The 31-year-old Rosicky added: "Since I arrived here six years ago, I have felt at home. The coach, team mates, staff, and fans have always supported me, so it is a privilege for me to play here. The future looks bright."
