On Saturday, the first two matches of the 21st round of the Russian Premier League were played - in Yaroslavl, "Rostov" crushed the local "Shinnik", while Tomsk's "Tom" unexpectedly lost to Perm's "Amkar".
"Rostov", who has been undefeated lately, visited Yaroslavl. "Shinnik", in order to stay in the Premier League, had to aim for victories in home matches, but this time they didn't succeed.
After fifteen minutes of the match, "Rostov" had already scored two goals, and in the 25th minute "Shinnik" probably lost any hope of winning as a defender of the local team was sent off for a second yellow card.
After the sending off, "Shinnik" managed to score a goal and reduce the score, but in the second half they conceded four more goals and lost by a crushing score of 1-6. By the way, "Shinnik" stood out not only for the defeat but also for clashes with fans.
In the second match, the mid-table team "Tom" from Tomsk met the survival fighter "Amkar" from Perm. "Amkar", who had not lost in the autumn, immediately attacked "Tom's" goal. And within twenty minutes, they had already scored two goals.
The conceded goals were supposed to activate "Tom", but the hosts did not show much desire to go forward and equalize the score.
In the second half, the situation did not change. "Amkar" attacked, while "Tom" only defended and did nothing in the attack. "Amkar" scored two more goals, one against "Tom" and the other into their own net. The visitors from Perm won 1-3. After this match, reports appeared in the Russian internet media that V. Petrakov is resigning from his position as head coach of "Tom".
