Round 20: First "Milan" failure away © EuroFootball.com

Over the weekend, the 20th round matches of the Italian Championship were played, in which not many goals were scored but there were unexpected results - the leader "Juventus" club was the only favorite to win, "Milan" and "Udinese" suffered defeats, while "Inter" played a draw again.

The defending champions "Milan" were forced to concede their first away defeat of the season, which happened in a match against the team "Livorno". The winning goal was scored by C. Colombo, a protege of the legendary former "Milan" player R. Donadoni, in the 28th minute, while the Lithuanian T. Danilevičius watched the match from the bench.

The unexpected happened with the "Juventus" club, easily defeating M. Stankevičiaus' "Brescia" at home. However, one of their leaders P. Nedved was injured in the Turin team, and it is speculated that the injury could be serious.

The "Reggina" team provided a surprise by defeating third-placed "Udinese" away, which was their second loss in a row. The same unsuccessful series is experienced by Rome's "Lazio", who were unable to recover at home after conceding two goals at the start of the match and losing to "Sampdoria".

For the 14th time, Milano's "Inter" played a draw at home, not breaking the resistance of "Chievo". By the way, the visitors could even have won the match, but hit the crossbar twice. "Roma" dropped to the sixth position, winning against "Fiorentina" thanks to the goal of the league's most productive player V. Montella.

"Bologna" won minimum home victories against "Cagliari", "Lecce" beat "Atalanta" eleven, and "Messina" broke the successful streak of the "Parma" team. The match between "Siena" and "Palermo" ended goalless.
