On Wednesday, the ninth round of matches took place in the Italian "Serie A" league. It went particularly well for the away teams, who secured five victories, suffered only two defeats, and once played to a draw.

The first loss of the season was experienced by the "Chievo" club, who were defeated at home by the "Sampdoria" team. Sharing the fourth-fifth spot with "Chievo" is "Cagliari", who won in tense matches against the struggling "Parma" team.

After a resounding victory against "Atalanta", the defending champions "Milan" moved up to second place. They managed to surpass the "Lecce" club, as the latter played to a draw with "Inter".

At home, the "Lazio" team secured their first victory, defeating "Messina" and ending a streak of five winless matches. "Livorno" managed to climb out of the bottom of the standings, with Tom Danilevičius helping them win away against "Palermo".

In other matches, "Udinese" and "Siena" managed to secure victories on the road with minimal differences, defeating "Bologna" and "Brescia" respectively.

Meanwhile, "Fiorentina" snatched a victory in the final minutes of the match against "Reggina" following F. Miccoli's goal. Tomorrow, in the central match of the round, the league leader "Juventus" will face "Roma".
