Former "Arsenal" defender Robert Pires has sparked hope among the "gunners" fans with his bold statements.
The Frenchman revealed that he believes in the possibility of coach Arsene Wenger luring rising "Monaco" star Kylian Mbappe.
"I think the London club will fight for him.
The only problem is how much it will cost. Mbappe has enough potential to play for 'Arsenal,' and Wenger is the right coach for him.
The London club has many similarities to 'Monaco,' so there is no risk that the player may not fit," Pires said.
"I hope that Kylian will follow in Thierry Henry's footsteps because these players have many similarities - both fast, strong, and excellent snipers. Of course, Mbappe is still very young, so I will refrain from further comparisons.
