The new Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado admits that it will be harder in England than in Spain, but believes he can surpass the 20-goal mark in a season. This summer, the Spaniard moved from Valencia for €30 million to Spurs and hopes to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League for the team in the upcoming season.
"I can't give an exact number, but I am determined to score more than 20 goals in a season and that would be a great result," said the Reuters Television player.
"Of course it will be difficult, but hard work and the support of teammates should help. The Premier League is more competitive than La Liga and requires more physical strength.
"I want to perform as successfully as possible in this league, but the main goal is to earn a spot in the Champions League, which we dream of," added R. Soldado.
