On Monday, videos started spreading on social media showing "West Ham United" defender Kurt Zouma kicking and hitting his cats. Although the police did not start an investigation into such behavior of a football player, and the defender himself played a match on Tuesday, this story took a somewhat unexpected turn. On Wednesday, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) issued a statement that K. Zouma's pets have been confiscated. The society's statement states that the cats will be taken to a veterinarian to check their condition. RSPCA promises to provide more comments later.
