Rummenigge: There are no good players in the market in January

The head of Bayern Munich, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, stated that he does not intend to take advantage of the last hours of the transfer window to strengthen the squad.

"It's just impossible for us to take any action," the German said about the possibility of seeking replacements for the injured Javi Martinez and Jerome Boateng.

"During the winter, there are no high-level mastery players on the market that good teams would release."

He also confirmed that Martinez's injury is not very serious and the defender should return to the field sooner.

"It's a matter of weeks, not months," Rummenigge said.
