"Manchester United" has reached a verbal agreement on the acquisition of Madrid's "Atletico" star Antoine Griezmann, writes "Yahoo Sports". If the information is confirmed, the forward will earn as much as his French national team teammate Paul Pogba within the ranks of the "Red Devils". The latter's transfer from Turin's "Juventus" last summer became record-breaking and cost a staggering 89 million pounds. It is thought that a similar amount will need to be paid for Griezmann. The 25-year-old footballer finished third in the 2016 Best Player awards, trailing only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. However, this season he has struggled, with only 15 goals and seven assists in 29 matches across all competitions."
