FIFA has made a final decision regarding Russia's participation in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. On Tuesday, it was announced that Russia is officially removed from the knockout stage of the qualifiers, and their opponents, who were supposed to be Poles, advance to the decisive stage where they will fight for a ticket to Qatar against either Czech or Swedish footballers. When Russia started military actions in Ukraine, FIFA was looking for ways to play the remaining World Cup qualifiers, but later decided to suspend all teams from that country. The football federations of Poland, Sweden, and the Czech Republic announced shortly after the start of military actions that they do not plan to play matches against Russians.
