Russian billionaire A. Usmanov longs for the "Milan" club

According to the Italian press, the "Milan" club may soon have a new owner.

It is claimed that Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov, who currently owns nearly 30% of the shares of London's "Arsenal" club, is interested in the possibility of acquiring the Italian giant "Milan".

Currently, the owner of the "Rossoneri" is businessman Yonghong Li from China, however, according to various sources, the latter does not have the financial means to successfully maintain the legendary Italian club.

It is reported that Li's company "Rossoneri Sport" owes a total of 303 million euros to the U.S. financial fund "Elliott Management". If the businessman from China fails to cover this debt by October, the fund will take over the club's management.

The founder of the billion-dollar U.S. company, Paul Singer, is familiar with A. Usmanov, so the latter would immediately try to take advantage of the situation if the Chinese businessman fails to cover the debt.

According to "Calciomercato" data, the Russian billionaire is also interested in buying shares of the "Sevilla" club.
