In the first round of the Russian Cup, the teams of Krasnodar's "Kuban" and Grozny's "Terek" met. "Terek" took a big step towards the quarterfinals, defeating their opponents 3-0.
During the first half, "Kuban" had a clear territorial advantage, but the visitors defended well, not forgetting to counterattack. There were no dangerous moments, except for Beschyastny's shot in the 21st minute.
In the 37th minute, a rare counterattack from "Terek" ended with a goal. Fedkov scored. The score doubled in the 72nd minute when Terekhin headed in a corner. The final point was set in the 86th minute when Homukhas scored a penalty kick.
The second leg, which will take place on March 24, will be just a formality.
