Piotras Čekmarevas, head of the Plant Department at the Ministry of Agriculture, emphasized that the green lawns of stadiums could be attacked by insects specifically during the summer months.
"In one way or another, we have learned to deal with these insects. But why can't there be their attack this summer?
People from all over the world will come here. The football fields will be freshly green. This could become a very tempting object for harmful insects," he warned.
