Legendary Dutch national team striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has been appointed as an assistant coach of the national team.
The 38-year-old former footballer, who has played for the Dutch national team, will now assist head coach Guus Hiddink. Danny Blind will also assist this duo.
The former "Real Madrid" and "Manchester United" player played 70 matches and scored 35 goals for the national team during his career.
G. Hiddink will debut with his coaching staff on September 4th when the Dutch will play against Italy.
