Madrid television presenter Andy May announced that Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy will soon join the ranks of a Spanish team.
The 34-year-old footballer, representing Hamburg, did not hide his desire to return to his former team, which is looking for a new striker due to a serious injury suffered by Argentine Gonzalo Higuain.
"This is unofficial, but it seems that Ruud is returning to Madrid. Follow the information," May posted on the social networking site Twitter.
On Friday, Marca reported that Real Madrid offered the Germans 2 million euros in compensation, but have not yet received a response.
