The 34-year-old veteran has already worn the shirts of "Man Utd" and Madrid's "Real," and is now ready to take on a backup role if offered by an elite club.
"I am considering representing an English or Spanish team next season," the Dutchman told "The Mirror." "I have also decided that if I receive an offer from a big club, I will be ready to play a backup role."
In the German championship, van Nistelrooy played 22 matches this season and scored six goals.
