For the next two months, the team will have to manage without one of the attacking leaders - Ruud van Nistelrooy from Holland. The 28-year-old striker injured his Achilles tendon.
The Dutchman missed the last three matches after further injuring the already damaged tendon in the match on November 27th. It was expected that R. van Nistelrooy would be able to return to the field at the beginning of January.
