This summer Robin van Persie, who joined "Manchester United", denies that he chose the "Red Devils" team because of money.
The English press was creating stories about the Dutch national team member, suggesting that he went to "Man Utd" for money, not for titles, even though the striker rejected a lucrative offer from "Manchester City".
"Many people think that I came to Manchester for money, but it's only for trophies," the 29-year-old Dutchman told journalists.
"Arsenal" club remains and will remain my home, but "Manchester United" is a different team and its strength is different," added van Persie.
This season, the striker scored 23 times in 33 matches played with the English vice-champions.
