Welsh legend Ryan Giggs will celebrate a special anniversary today: he will appear on the field in the English Premier League match for the 600th time wearing the red and black Manchester United jersey.
Only two players of the "Red Devils" have reached the milestone of six hundred matches before Giggs, who made his debut at Old Trafford in the 1990/91 season - Bobby Charlton (759 matches) and Bill Foulkes (688).
Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary Manchester United manager, said during an interview with Reuters news agency: "This is a unique and remarkable achievement. Giggs has been playing for our club for almost 15 years. He is a true example to others."
