Despite understanding that offers from China seem tempting, according to Slaven Bilic, "Manchester United" captain Wayne Rooney is still capable enough to play in Europe.
Talks about the striker's departure intensified even more when it was reported that his agent, Paul Stretford, flew to China.
It's worth mentioning that the transfer window in this country continues until the end of February.
"He is 31 years old, he is certainly capable enough to stay in Europe, and he will have many options," said Bilic.
"On the other hand, he has already done everything, he has nothing left to prove, and for players like him - who have done everything - it is hard to find new challenges."
"You are the captain of Manchester United and have been one of the best in Europe for a long time. Where can you go? Of course, it's his decision."
Rooney, who lost his guaranteed place in the starting lineup this season, scored five goals and provided 10 assists in 29 games in all competitions.
