The President of the International Football Association Federations (FIFA), Sepp Blatter, has stated that he will seek a fifth term in office in the 2015 elections.

"I am a candidate again. Although my mandate is ending, the mission is not over," said the 78-year-old S. Blatter to the Swiss newspaper "Blick".

The FIFA presidential elections will take place next year, and the main candidate for these positions is the current UEFA leader Michel Platini.

S. Blatter started working at FIFA in 1975, initially holding the position of technical director. He became the president of FIFA in 1998.
