FIFA President Sepp Blatter, currently recovering from a serious illness, revealed that he was recently very close to death.
The 79-year-old Swiss man fell into the hands of doctors this month and was admitted to the hospital. Blatter's current stage of life is unfolding very poorly - deteriorating health and accusations of corruption in football.
"I was close to death," said the FIFA leader. "On the one hand, I was among singing angels, and on the other - among a burning devil."
"I felt a lot of pressure. If you are mentally strong, you can resist it, but at some point your body says, 'enough'," Blatter spoke about his experiences.
The Swiss man is suspended from football for 90 days and most likely will not return to the presidency.
