Scoring 10 goals in the last two matches (well, 11 if we count that - bizarre own goal), the Spaniards advance to the quarter-finals, where they will face the French after defeating the Swiss in an 11-meter penalty shootout. Spain's national team captain Sergio Busquets commented: "We were very good in the match, proactive and well prepared to fight against a very strong opponent. We are growing and improving during the championship." "Luck turned its back on us when we scored an own goal and it unbalanced us for 5 minutes, but we managed to recover and even came very close to solving things in the normal match time."
