The player of the Spanish national team Sergio Busquets believes that resolving the situation of his team-mate Gerardo Pique, who has become the target of fans lately, will not be easy.
The central defender did not hide his support for Catalonia, which prompted Spanish fans to boo him during training.
In the country, political unrest continues after the referendum, during which the wealthiest region of Spain decided whether to secede. All this resulted in clashes with riot police, many people were injured, and the "Barcelona" club joined the strikes.
"I would say this is the most difficult time for me in the national team because of everything that is happening, and I think resolving Pique's situation will be difficult," - Busquets told Cadena Ser.
"There was no individual meeting to resolve Pique's situation."
"I don't know if (the team captain - ed. note Ramos) and Pique talked, but this is not a usual situation."
"Pique seems the same as always."
A few days ago, Pique stated that he could leave the Spanish national team if he is not wanted here.
